So, here’s the plan:

As you probably have already read, we have 4,000 Wellington boots to do with as we so wish. Around 70% of these wellies are perfectly decent.
All our products are only made from the top section of the welly, as we want to keep all the bottom parts, to turn into clean, comfortable and durable Glastonbury Welly Clogs.
Money raised through sales of Festival Reboot products and donations is helping send thousands of these Glastonbury Welly Clogs to Kenya. Once these clogs arrive there, they will be distributed to local people in need of decent footwear around the slums of Nairobi and Nakuru. Many children are not allowed to go to school without footwear, the welly clogs work well as hard wearing, smart looking school shoes. We have a variety of different size clogs so we have the opportunity to help those of ALL ages and backgrounds.

If you feel like you wish to support this cause yet don’t fancy buying any of the products then you can simply donate as little or as much as you like using the donate button below which will bring you to a donating page.
However, money isn’t everything; we appreciate the power of your voice too! If you can spread the word of our project to just one more person then we can reach out to the masses and not only can we recycle these wellies, but in future recycle so much MORE! And hopefully reduce the amount of ‘quality waste’ left at Glastonbury 2013 decreasing the amount of things we will need to recycle in the first place.
